The Graduate Affairs & Career Services Department, a department under the Institute of Technical Education ("ITE") (hereinafter known as "GCS Department"), attends to all ITE Alumni and this includes your personal data with care. Your personal data includes the information you provided to ITE as a student. Personal data held by us will only be used in accordance with the purpose for which it was collected. Your personal data privacy is important to us and we are committed to safeguarding your personal data that we may possess.

Consistent with that use, your personal data may continue to be used by us for purposes to process, administer and /or manage your relationship with us as an alumnus of ITE, as follows:-

a) To maintain a lifelong relationship with its alumni;
b) To create awareness and promote alumni relations;
c) To understand and study the profile of its alumni community for ITE’s policy making and planning;
d) To involve alumni in ITE’s continual development and progress through the engagement of voluntary services and giving back to their alma mater; and
e) To communicate to its alumni relevant and/or other information that would be of interest to its alumni.

GCS Department will seek prior consent of the alumni in question should there be a need to use his/her personal data for purposes not included in the list of purposes stated above.

We may share necessary data with other Government agencies, so as to serve you in a most efficient and effective way, unless such sharing is prohibited by law. We will not share your personal data with non-Government entities, except where such entities have been authorised to carry out specific services on behalf of the Government.

Opting out of Communications

You will continue to receive communications on ITE alumni news and information unless you choose not to, which you may do at any time by filling in this opt-out form and email it to Please note that this process may take up to 2 weeks to take effect.

Please note that your details will still be held on the alumni database to facilitate disclosure of your personal information as required by law in connection with judicial or administrative proceedings, or in order to fulfil a statutory obligation. We may still share necessary data with other non-Government entities to carry out specific services on behalf of the Government.
